Club History

The club was founded in 1994 and joined the fourth division which we went on to win in our debut season. We have picked up silverware regularly since then, either from Hong Kong competitions or on tours.

By the 1996/97 division we were playing in the second division and appearing at the Hong Kong International Tens where our claim to fame was scoring twice against the Clifford Chance Aliens - let’s not mention how many they scored!

As the club grew in stature, we started to suffer from having too many players to accommodate in two teams (something which no club should ever complain about!). This led to the formation of our third men’s team, T3 - a team with even more of an emphasis on the social side of rugby (...if that’s possible!)

The 2021/22 season has seen further growth, and we are really excited to have added a fourth team to our growing roster - Typhoons Thunder! The Thunder will be our first Women’s team and we hope will bring our brand of social, but good quality rugby to a new audience
.
We remain a club that stems from good old amateur rugby ethics - mates, a few drinks and great laughs - then we do that all again on the Saturday night.
