4th Bledesloe Cup Match: your chance to see the 2 top ranked teams in the world play 15s. Anywhere else in the world and this would have been sold out months ago. Here there are tickets going spare... fortunately all the Phoons tickets have gone but Shayne and possibly Warren still has some spares if you need them.
The shout before the game is Oolaa on Bridges Street. Dean Geary has organised an all you can drink brunch with a bus to take you to the game. Something like 30+ people going to arrive bledded.
The shout after the game is to make your way to Coyote's where the Tequila Mocking Birds have a sponsored tequila locker that is untouched and asking for trouble.
See you at the stadium...
MATCH REPORT
What a cracking match! Great banter, free flowing beer & pimms. Being just above the players tunnel allowed the girls to oogle and us to shout "encouragement" as the palyers took to and left the field.
And then to Coyote's. The call was premium tequila from our sponsored locker. we dusted off 2 bottles with our "no wince policy" (if you wince doing the shot you do a second as part of your education on the subtleties of premium tequila. It was noticeable how few needed re-education).
And hat's off to Mr. Orange, snr. for raising 3 wholesome, god fearing boys and at 70+ taking the premium shot without a trace of a wince. Clearly a wise and educated gent.
